Touted by the New York Times as "Luxury Living in a Hyperactive Building", the Lofts at CITY MUSEUM are an extension of Creative Director and Founder Bob Cassilly's idea of a 'whole city in microcosm'. With the addition of residential space to the CITY MUSEUM, that vision of a mini-city, or a place where activity happens at all hours, has now become a reality.

In keeping with the museum's off-center aesthetic, the area where the apartments reside is decorated with parts reclaimed from other venerable Saint Louis buildings. For example, the Art Deco elevator banks are faced with two-tone gray marble salvaged from a downtown bank. Nearby, treads from old department-store escalators are stacked sideways on a curve to form a public hallway.

The lofts, which range from 1,300 to more than 2,800 square feet, are located on the fifth floor of the museum complex. This positioning affords inspiring views of the creative world outside the window, while still providing enough separation that residents feel a sense of privacy and exclusivity.
