Overnights
People are talking about our SlumberCity overnights! Since the events started in 2007, over 7000 people have spent the night at City Museum Here’s what a few of them have had to say about it.
“We spent the night at the City Museum’s family sleepover – What a blast! So many other children’s venues leave me on the sidelines, chatting with the other parents or reading a book and passing the time. At City Museum, I am pulling my kids into different places, instead of the other way around. I was very impressed with the staff, as well. They seem to have the right mix of keeping order and providing help and direction without imposing themselves in a way that makes you feel unwelcome.”
“Being there over night gave us an intimate sense of the place that you might not get in the frenetic pace of the crowds during the day. We will be back!”
“We had a wonderful time at the sleep over. From the moment we arrived we could tell this place was different. We enjoyed seeing a salad with pizza. Most sleepovers treat vegetables as exotic hard to find plants. Of course the girls loved exploring and sliding and doing the crafts. Thank you for keeping the art center open late into the night. The designated sleep area was welcome to those of us who wanted some quiet time. You always had a smile for us, even at 6:00AM.”
“Thank you for another great sleep-over at the City Museum. All the kids had a great time last night (well, this morning) whenever, I’m still tired. Hope to do it again next year”
