DESCRIPTION:We have a bit of a history with unique school busses\, so Monster Jam knew who to call when they announced they were bringing the new school bus-themed “Classroom Crusher” to The Dome at America’s Center! \n\n\n\nCome see Classroom Crusher on display in our parking lot\, right outside the main entrance. Whether you’re a monster truck fanatic or just looking to CRUSH this year’s Back to School season\, fans of all ages can explore this marvel of art and engineering\, with its towering tires\, roaring engine\, and jaw-dropping design. Meet driver Camden Murphy\, get a photo with this larger-than-life vehicle\, and maybe win some Monster Jam tickets! \n\n\n\nWhile Classroom Crusher is bringing the monster (truck)-sized energy\, our Gift Shop will have plenty of School Bus-themed merch\, Art City will have a “Paint Your Own School Bus” and other bus-related crafts and\, of course\, the Roxana school bus will still be hanging off the edge of our Rooftop. \n\n\n\nThursday\, September 18 from 10am–12pm in Serpent Lot \n\n\n\nIncluded with General Admission or Member Pass. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nOh\, look! SUMMARY:Force Green FIRST Robotics Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Force Green\, a local high school community-based robotics team\, is visiting City Museum to showcase FIRST Robotics! \n\n\n\nLearn about the different levels of robotics (from 2nd to 12th grade) and explore opportunities to get involved in STEM. Watch a full-size competition robot in action and try out a variety of interactive\, drivable bots. Meet the Force Green team\, ask questions\, and explore the possibilities of engineering and coding. \n\n\n\nForce Green is a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team\, where students are challenged to design\, build\, program\, and operate robots in a head-to-head competition. FIRST\, founded in 1989\, is a global nonprofit organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of life-changing youth robotics programs that build skills\, confidence\, and resilience. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, September 20 from 11am–5pm in St. George’s Chamber (2nd Floor) \n\n\n\nIncluded with General Admission or Member Pass.
