City Nights 2025 Lineup

City Nights: Earth Vibes Only
Friday, April 11 from 7pm–11pm
Join us for the first City Nights event of the Spring, a high-energy Earth Month bash where sustainability meets style. If you’ve been to City Museum you know we like to build things with unusual materials. (Looking at you, wall made of buffet pans). Build your own recycled cardboard masterpiece with our Art City crew, issue yourself an Interplanetary Passport with Central Print, and customize your own Sustainable Action Trading Cards with Perennial to satisfy that crafting compulsion.
Explore the museum, grab some cocktails, and Stazi will DJ from the whale to set the mood with dance tunes. Whether you’re a dancing queen, a DIY king, or just here for the vibes, this eco-friendly party has something for everyone!

City Nights: Underground
Friday, May 16 from 7pm–11pm
Turn down the lights and turn up the music — we’re transforming our loading dock and underground garage into an all-night party! DJ Atomic Ace (the Girl from Space) will be your sonic spiritual guide, as she sets the mood and spins the soundtrack for the evening.
Come watch local artists Marley Billie D, David Ruggeri, 18&Counting, and Justin Tolentino create brand new masterpieces in front of your eyes, and get inspired by this surreal playground!

City Nights: Pride Mayhem
Friday, June 13 from 7pm–11pm
Celebrate Pride Month at City Museum! Start the evening with a visit to Beatnik Bob’s for the opening of ‘Bubble Unit‘, an art show curated by Cranky Yellow showcasing local artists from the LGBTQ community. Then have a cocktail and sing along to showtunes played on our 1924 Wurlitzer Theater Organ in the caves.
At 9pm it’s time to put your paws up. ‘Enter Mayhem’ is a one-night-only drag concert delivering a full-throttle performance of Lady Gaga’s latest album, ‘Mayhem’. Brought to you by Prismatic Events STL, this takeover is high-voltage, high-drama, and unapologetically queer. They’re performing every track — and we want you on the dance floor for all of it. Expect fierce numbers, raw emotion, and full visual spectacle, brought to life by Becca Diamond, Aiden Control, Noah Mazzaratie Steele, and more.
With sounds by DJTABER, immersive design from Spectrama Lighting & Production, and every moment captured by Zachary Steele Photography, this isn’t just a show — it’s a statement of our Pride!

City Nights: Yacht Rock
Friday, August 1 from 7pm–11pm
Ahoy! All aboard for an unforgettable evening of breezy vibes on the salty seas of nostalgia. Yacht Rock isn’t just a music genre, it’s a lifestyle of laid-back luxury. And after the sun sets on a sweltering St. Louis night, you’ll want to come sail away with us at this City Nights (21+) event!
Dressed up or dressed down, there’s no wrong way to escape everyday life and drift away on the nautical nostalgia. Set your course in style with DJ314 spinning smooth dance grooves from the ’70s and ’80s. Cruise on through to Architecture Hall, and you’ll find Griffin and the Gargoyles playing covers of the saxiest easy-listening tracks. All the cool captains and dockside divas will be there for the music, memories, and magic — don’t miss the boat!

City Nights: Oktoberfest
Friday, September 5 from 7pm–11pm
Grab your dirndl or lederhosen and put on your dancing shoes, because it’s time to kick off the Fall season with one of the world’s oldest drinks and Bavaria’s greatest tradition — Oktoberfest!
“Why is it in September if it’s called Oktoberfest?” Great question! Although the event started with a celebration of King Ludwig’s wedding in October 1810, local wars, epidemics, recessions, weather, and other influences have pushed it around the calendar over its 200+ year history. Oktoberfest also absorbed some of the late-Summer/early-Fall agricultural celebrations around the harvest season, and the modern event in Munich is now scheduled almost entirely in September, ending the first weekend of October.
…also, for our purposes, it’s kicking off a full month of Oktoberfest & Craft Beer Month celebrations in September, plus we had to fit it in before Fright at the Museum takes over on October 1st. Explore hidden corners, sip seasonal brews, and raise a toast with local Oompah band ÜberCool in one of the most unique venues in the city!

City Nights: Space Age Soirée
Friday, October 3 from 7pm–11pm
The future is formal and everyone’s a star at the Space Age Soirée! Whether you’re donning a costume or dressing to the nines (or going for that galaxy brain-level crossover), there’s no wrong way to “Dress Up” for this galactic gala. And with Fright at the Museum kicking off the same weekend, the Halloween + Formal + Space vibes are going to be out of this world!
Blast off with DJ Atomic Ace (aka, Ace the Girl from Space) spinning tracks on the First Floor while Umbrella Underground is bringing down the house in Beatnik Bob’s all night. Then at 9pm, get ready for an Alien Invasion — a one-night-only drag spectacle from Prismatic Events, where otherworldly beings crash for an intergalactic performance you’ll never forget! Featuring Becca Diamond, Noah Mazzaratie Steele, Aiden Control, Fabrielle, Chloe Curiousity, and Moxi Mayhem, with beats by DJTABER and immersive design from Spectrama Lighting & Production. Resistance is futile — but glitter is mandatory!

City Nights: Local Dive
Friday, November 14 from 7pm–11pm
Come celebrate STL in one of the most unique places in the city. We’re partnering with St. Louis Arts to showcase local creative talent and collaborate with guests on an interactive art piece. More details coming soon.
This is the last City Nights of the season – don’t miss it!
