Ready to Get Jiggy with It? Join Us for a Totally Rad ’90s Prom!
Who: You, your boo, your BFFs — the whole gang
What: PROM! Dress up or dress down, we’re bringing it back to the ’90s
When: Friday, August 2 from 7pm–11pm
Where: City Museum, Downtown STL
Why: Because it’s going to be all that and a bag of chips!
Dust off those platform shoes, break out the butterfly clips, and dig up your favorite ’90s threads because City Museum is throwing the ultimate ’90s Prom Night! Make memories that will last forever with friends you’ll never forget on the most important night of the year!
What’s the 411?
Architecture Hall: Feel the nostalgia as Architecture Hall provides the backdrop of disco balls, balloons, a photo booth, and spiked punch. DJ Ben Stein will be delivering all your favorite hits from the decade of flannel, frosted tips, and iconic dance moves.
Rooftop: Is formal Prom a little too “stuffy” for your tastes? Come let loose at the Rooftop House Party! Pop ‘Clueless’ or ‘Pulp Fiction’ into the VCR and get your groove on under the stars while DJ Rafael spins the best 90’s jams. From boy bands to grunge, we’ll have you dancing like it’s 1999!
*If weather stops us from being able to party on the Rooftop, we’ll move the House Party into Beatnik Bob’s on the 3rd Floor to keep it fresh.
Say Cheese at Our Balloon Photo Backdrop and Photo Booth!
Capture the night with your squad at our balloon photo backdrop! Strike a pose, take a selfie, and make memories that are, like, totally Instagram-worthy. Don’t forget to hit up the 360° photo booth for some silly snapshots with props that’ll remind you of the good ol’ days.
Sip on Some Fly Specialty Drinks!
We’re mixing up some dope specialty drinks that’ll take you back in time. Whether you were into Surge or Zima, the Cowboy Bar and Rooftop Café will have a little something for everyone to enjoy.
What to Wear?
Think flannel shirts, chokers, overalls, slip dresses, and anything else that screams ’90s!
