City Nights: Y2K
March 6 All day

Friday, March 6 from 7pm–11pm
Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1999 — yes, we’re reliving the excitement of the turn of the Millennium! The good news: Everyone’s computers made the jump from the 1900s to 2000s without crashing any mainframes or firing any missiles, plus barrel leg and low-rise jeans are finally making a comeback. The bad news: Neither of those fashion choices are going to serve you well on the slides and climbers.
If you don’t believe us, just ask your nearest Millennial (you can find us over by the avocado toast). They’ll tell you to put on your best bucket hat and puka shell necklace, set an away message, and don’t forget to feed your Tamagotchi, because you’re going to be dancing into the future of the past all night!
- Turn the tables: Groove is in the heart. It’s also coming from the speakers, with 18&counting and 314DJ keeping you dancing for the next thousand years
- Play all day, party all night: Your event ticket includes General Admission for the full day of the event, so you can arrive as eagerly early or fashionably late as you wish
- Adults only: We’re closing early so you can party! City Museum will be fully open (outdoor areas depending on weather) during City Nights, so those slides, climbers, and ramps are all yours to explore
- Arts and crafts: Grab your glue sticks, Art City is here to help you collage your own customized button or other crafty keepsake
- Full belly, happy heart: Food, drinks, beer, and cocktails will be available for purchase throughout the museum
- Hands-on experience: Sample new 4 Hands Brewing products, including the City Museum Pilsner and Hard Seltzer!
21+ only with valid ID. Limited tickets will be available at the Ticket Window on the day of the event, and your ticket includes General Admission for that day. Members get in FREE!
Oh, look! We’re in the news!
