Experience the Magic of the Season at City Museum’s Enchanting Holiday Event, Weirdly Wonderful Holidays

Step into a winter wonderland of joy and delight as City Museum transforms into a festive paradise from Thanksgiving through the entire month of December. From twinkling lights that illuminate the night to heartwarming encounters with Santa and his merry helpers, there’s something for everyone!

Dazzling Lights

Dazzling Holiday Lighting: Be mesmerized by the breathtaking display of holiday lights that will adorn City Museum’s historic façade. Every day, the museum comes alive with a captivating dance of lights, filling the air with the spirit of the season. Special light effects can be found here:

• Enchanted caves
• Artquarium
• Top of the 3rd floor stairway
• Throughout the 3rd floor

Specialty Eats & Drinks

Warm up your winter with specialty cocktails at one of our three holiday bars! Step into a realm of frosty delights and savor the taste of the season at the Cozy Chalet bar (1st floor), the North Pole bar (3rd floor), or the Holly Jolly Cafe (on the Rooftop weather permitting). These pop-up experiences are nestled within City Museum’s Weirdly Wonderful Holidays event.

You can also step out onto the patio and roast some s’mores or decorate cookies on the 4th floor!

Visits with Santa

Have your wishes heard by the man himself, Santa Claus! Bring your little ones to meet Santa to share their dreams and wishes. Santa’s jolly laughter and warm heart will make this a memory to cherish.

“A Magical Holiday Experience” is a live show hosted by Santa Claus on the 3rd floor stage.

Stories with Mrs. Claus

Gather ’round as Mrs. Claus spins heartwarming tales of holiday cheer and tradition. Her soothing voice and captivating stories will transport you to a world of magic and imagination, leaving you filled with the warmth of the season.

“Storytelling with Mrs. Claus” is located on the 4th floor.

Karaoke in Beatnik Bob’s

Sing your heart out in front of the giant underwear on the Beatnik’s stage! Sing solo or sing with your friends and family. All ages are welcome.

Karaoke is located on the 3rd floor in Beatnik Bob’s.

Weirdly Wonderful Holidays is a whole month of winter holiday fun! With larger-than-life light displays outside on MonstroCity and throughout the museum, City Museum will be sure to dazzle all holiday visitors. Wrap up the year at our New Year’s Eve Party that will include crafts, pinatas, and more fun for the whole family!
