Cabin Inn & Patio
Rent the Cabin Inn & Patio
Pull up a chair and stay awhile!
The Cabin Inn is a frontier log cabin from the early 19th century that now stands proudly underneath MonstroCity at City Museum. Once home to the son of Daniel Boone, the cabin was later purchased by the Hezel Family, who owned the cabin for more than 100 years. In the mid-1990s, the cabin was transported from its original site on a Missouri farm to its present location at City Museum. The Cabin Inn can either be enjoyed indoors or on our spacious brick patio (weather permitting) surrounded by the mystifying skies of MonstroCity.
During the holidays: the Cabin Inn transforms into a winter escape we call The Misfit Holiday Bar. Complete with a 6-foot Snow monster, there are plenty of photo opps and specialty drinks to go around.
Venue capacity is 40 seated and 65 standing.

Book an Event
We begin booking events one year in advance and can reserve dates up to two weeks prior to the event date. One date in one room may be temporarily held for up to two weeks with no contract or money. If you’re ready to secure a date, a nonrefundable deposit and signed contract is required. Once reserved, events may not be canceled but may be rescheduled as long as the new date is available and falls within a year of the old.
