Whimsical and unexpected.
Named after the enormous double vault doors and salvaged safety deposit boxes that adorn its walls, the Vault Room is bedecked with historical St. Louis relics and a kaleidoscopic, awe-inspiring hallway of mirrors and a marble bar.
The Vault Room is especially beautiful for evening events as light filters through the wall of vintage Vess soda bottles and twinkling lights dangle from the ceiling. The details of City Museum’s Vault Room are sure to make every event unforgettable.
Venue capacity is 200 seated and 300 standing.

*Admission during nonoperating hours requires an additional staffing fee to be applied.
Book an Event
We begin booking events one year in advance and can reserve dates up to two weeks prior to the event date. One date in one room may be temporarily held for up to two weeks with no contract or money. If you’re ready to secure a date, a nonrefundable deposit and signed contract is required. Once reserved, events may not be canceled but may be rescheduled as long as the new date is available and falls within a year of the old.
